Emerald Climate is a Singapore-based advisory service shaping Asia-Pacific into a global hub for durable carbon removal. By linking buyers, suppliers, investors, and policymakers, accelerating innovation across carbon markets, turning climate mitigation into a driver of sustainable growth.
Our Approach
01
Convene
Bringing together public sector agencies, policymakers, investors, private sector and innovators to unlock finance for durable carbon removal.
Engaging with policymakers to embed durable carbon removal in national programs and international cooperation frameworks under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement.
Facilitating the enabling conditions that connect projects from pilots to scale-ups through partnerships demonstrating innovation, economic viability, + impact.
We have partnered with award-winning film director Leila Conners and founder of Tree Media Group who has been connecting science, storytelling, and learning to inspire action. Our combined educational initiatives bridge the gap between complex climate science and compelling narratives that drive engagement.
Explores how global systems empower communities and nature linking biodiversity, indigenous stewardship, forests, mangroves, carbon projects, and innovation.
Digital engagement and gifting platform that turns viewing into action, connecting audiences with carbon removal projects through innovative technology.

SEMICON SEA 2025 report from SEMI's Sustainability Forum:"Catalyzing a Net-Zero Semiconductor Value Chain"
Co-hosted by SEMI and Emerald Climate, this half-day summit brought together global semiconductor leaders, investors, policymakers, and climate innovators to chart actionable net-zero strategies through scalable nature-based strategies. With rising chip demand and intensifying emissions targets, the focus was on scaling high-integrity carbon removal, both nature-based and tech-driven. Attendees assessed market readiness and regional deployment pathways for carbon dioxide removal (CDR), spotlighting the semiconductor sector’s unique ability to shape demand signals, take an active role in infrastructure design, and pilot credible standards for the industry’s transition
“The semiconductor industry faces unique, sector-specific challenges on the path to net zero, driven by the high global warming potential process gases and poor access to clean energy in regions of operation. While the industry continues to innovate aggressively and prioritizes deep emissions reductions today, in operations, we recognize that residual carbon removal must also be part of the equation eventually. Due to complexity of the innovation required for direct and indirect emissions reduction AND the limited availability of high-quality credits coupled with the long lead time involved in their installation, these two efforts cannot happen sequentially. SEMI recognizes the need to start setting up greater awareness, education, and development of tailored standards and guidelines providing an on-ramp for our members into the carbon removal space. We plan to build the resources to equip our members in partnership with organizations like Emerald Climate.”Dr. Mousumi Bhat, Vice President for Sustainability, SEMI

Stephanie brings 25+ years of U.S. government service to Emerald Climate. In Washington, she held leadership roles in the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration as the Acting Director of the Office of Policy and Strategic Planning and in the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Carbon Management as the Director of International and External Partnerships.
In Asia, Stephanie worked at the U.S. Embassy in Singapore and led the DOE China office from the U.S. Embassy in Beijing where she spearheaded bilateral technical engagement on carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS). She moved to Singapore in August 2024 with her husband and two sons.
A global leader with 25+ years at the intersection of finance, innovation, and sustainability, she co-founded the Boston Consulting Group FinTech Control Tower and founder of Expand Research Asia, acquired by BCG. She has advised Fortune 100 companies, regulators, and ecosystem builders, including the Monetary Authority of Singapore, on technology-enabled transformation. Pauline builds bridges across sectors, convinced that systems change begins when leaders connect across industries, disciplines, and borders. A near-fatal accident in 2023 deepened her focus on purpose-driven leadership and resilience unbreakable spirit of a founder, emerging with renewed resilience and a stronger focus on purpose-driven leadership. Today, as Executive Producer with Tree Media Group, think-tank studio behind films The 11th Hourand Legion 44, Partner, non-profit Her Planet Earth and Global Ambassador of Investors for Climate fuses storytelling, investment and innovation to inspire action. A mother of three, Pauline brings creativity, global perspective, and a long-term systems mindset to what she builds.
